Leith is a very deeply, beautifully spalted length of Ambrosia Maple. A striking, deep blue swath of resin is central to the design of the clock.

The contrasting Walnut pointer echoes the river color, as does the inlaid lettering.

The smoothed lower edge is cultured, but hints of Leith's wild heritage.
